Working with our co-venturers to operate LNG infrastructure and facilities.
As a leading LNG company, our LNG storage, liquefaction and regasification operations are helping to deliver lower-emissions energy worldwide. Operating to the highest safety standards, we’re continuing to invest in our facilities, maximizing their potential as the demand for LNG grows.
United Kingdom

South Hook LNG terminal
South Hook is an LNG storage and regasification terminal connected to the United Kingdom’s natural gas grid.
Operating since 2009, the terminal has the highest regasification capacity in Europe at 15.6 Mta (nominal) and has received initial regulatory approvals for a potential expansion to 19.5 Mta.
Italy

Adriatic terminal
Situated nine miles offshore from Porto Levante, Italy.
The Adriatic LNG Terminal is the world’s first fixed offshore LNG storage and regasification terminal. Installed on a gravity base structure and linked to Italy’s national gas distribution network, the terminal receives regular deliveries of LNG, which after regasification are piped to Italy’s gas network, helping to power communities.
China

Huizhou LNG terminal
ExxonMobil is extending the LNG value chain downstream by supplying growing gas needs in Guangdong (including our petrochemical complex).

ExxonMobil LNG Shipping
As ExxonMobil expands its ability to meet global natural gas needs, efficient reliable marine transportation is critical for this growth. LNG vessels are central to the value chain, sailing across the challenging world’s waterways to deliver clean energy to the rapidly increasing LNG import destinations.
The modern Liquified Natural Gas carrier fleet contains vessels that feature advanced safety, containment, and propulsion technologies to efficiently transport natural gas from ExxonMobil’s global LNG source locations.
We continue to grow our global gas portfolio and expand supply and demand sources to meet the evolving needs of our customers. ExxonMobil’s unique and global presence provides flexibility to deliver natural gas to the world’s growing population, fuelling economic growth while reducing impacts on the environment.
