Feng Hua is Commercial Manager of the Resources & Marketing Department at Shanghai Gas, a subsidiary of Shenergy Group and China's first city gas company to launch LNG business. She is responsible for pipeline gas and LNG procurement, portfolio management, and supply-demand balancing, ensuring safe and stable natural gas supply for Shanghai, China's economic center. After completing a government rotation at the Shanghai Municipal Development and Reform Commission (MDRC), she joined Shanghai Gas in 2023 and has been instrumental in optimizing resource allocation and strengthening upstream-downstream coordination to support the city's energy security and green transition.
Feng graduated from Tsinghua University with a master's degree in chemical engineering and a French engineering diploma. Her experiences at Shenergy Group and the government rotation have given her a broad perspective on energy policy and cross-sector collaboration. She is passionate about driving commercial innovation and market reform in China's LNG industry and is committed to fostering an inclusive workplace that empowers female professionals.

She has played key roles in delivering high-value projects throughout the energy value chain, including exploration, field development and production, and Carbon Capture, Utilization and Storage (CCUS) initiatives.
Her career spans leading international energy companies, beginning with Chevron (1 year), followed by 7 years at BP, and 14 years with PETRONAS, where she continues to drive innovative subsurface solutions. Her technical expertise encompasses geological modeling, sedimentology and stratigraphy, seismic interpretation, drilling operations, geohazard assessment, prospect maturation, and CO₂ storage site development planning for CCUS.
Ana's contributions to the industry have been widely recognized through several prestigious international awards, including the ADIPEC Technical Excellence Award (2025), two World Gas Conference Awards (2022), and recognition as a finalist for the IGU Global Gas Award (2018).
